Joel Krause

Joel Krause is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Task Manager for KBR, Inc. since June 2015, overseeing the DPAS Project at EROS Data Center, which focuses on the production and distribution of Landsat data. With a solid engineering background, Joel has progressed through various roles at KBR, including Systems Engineer I, II, and III, specializing in data processing for Landsat Satellites. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota, focusing on UAV navigation, and as a Research Assistant at the UMN UAV Research Lab where Joel built UAVs for navigation research. Joel also interned at NASA's Langley Aeronautics Academy, worked on a neutrino detector project at the NOvA Research Lab, and gained hands-on experience testing construction materials with the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
