Kumar Atarthi

Kumar Atarthi, PMP, CSEP, currently serves as the MSEIT Sustainment IPT Deputy Lead at KBR, Inc., overseeing a team of over 77 engineers and project managers supporting the US Space Force. With a strong background in space systems engineering, Atarthi has held leadership roles at major defense companies such as Raytheon Intelligence & Space and LinQuest, where responsibilities included managing complex satellite communication systems and transition activities for the GPS-OCX program. Prior military experience includes various positions in the US Navy, culminating in roles as Director of the Office of Naval Space Readiness and Operations Officer aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). Atarthi's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Military Operational Art & Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College and a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis.
