Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is an accomplished senior leader and team-builder with 21 years of experience in project management, logistics, business analysis, strategic planning, and resource alignment within large organizations. They served as the Executive Officer and author for the Chief of Staff of the Army’s Operation Enduring Freedom Study Group from 2014 to 2016, managing a diverse team and publishing a comprehensive operational history. In their role as Manager at Deloitte from 2020 to 2022, they led cross-functional teams in developing strategic initiatives for the Air Force. Currently, they are a Senior Program Manager at KBR, Inc., continuing to enhance operations for both private and government clients through process improvement and organizational consulting. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a graduate degree in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy from The United States Army War College.
