Nicholas Smith

Nicholas Smith is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the water and sewerage sectors as well as the manufacturing industry, particularly fast-moving consumer goods. They achieved First Class Honours for their final year project at the University of Tasmania, where they developed methods for simulating acoustic scattering. Nicholas has held various positions, including Senior Strategic Advisor - Water Solutions at KBR, Inc., and has contributed to strategic planning and asset management at TasWater, where they evaluated treatment assets and developed renewal programs. Previously, they worked as a Brewery Technician at J. Boag & Son Brewery, gaining hands-on experience in lean manufacturing and quality assurance.
