Peter Lai

Dr. Peter C. Lai is the Chief Technical Advisor at KBR, Inc., where they collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer of the Space Systems Command at the U.S. Space Force to develop advanced technology roadmaps. With over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, they have contributed to high-stakes missions for organizations including NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman, focusing on Space Systems Engineering and advanced space technologies. Dr. Lai holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has been recognized for their work with awards such as the LinQuest Employee of the Year 2023 and the NASA Voyager Award in 2017. They are also an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and actively participate in international conferences.
