Shawn Li

Shawn Li is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) surveillance. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst and Credit Analyst at KBRA since June 2022, Shawn leads credit analysis for CMBS transactions totaling over $25 billion. Prior to this, Shawn held internships at Stockton Real Estate Advisors and the City of Shamokin, where responsibilities included analyzing municipal budgets, drafting zoning amendments, and engaging with Opportunity Zone investors. Experience also includes an internship at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, focusing on membership and finance tracking. Academically, Shawn holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Real Estate Design and Development certificate from The Wharton School, along with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Mathematics, and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
