Dave carter

Dave Carter has extensive experience in machining, with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning at AIM Ltd from October 2004 to August 2014 as a Machinist/Programmer/Design, Dave specialized in programming and operating various 5-axis machines using OpenMind CAD/CAM software and Heidenhain control systems. Subsequent roles include 1st Class Machinist at Hofmann Engineering from October 2014 to May 2018, and at VEEM Ltd from May 2018 to January 2019. In August 2020, Dave transitioned to Borex Pty Ltd as a Machinist/Line Borer until September 2022. As of December 2023, Dave holds multiple positions at KBSS, including Machining Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, and Machinist/On-site. At PRIMARY SALES AUSTRALIA, where Dave worked from April 2019 to August 2020 as a CNC Machinist, responsibilities included programming and operating a DMG FD80 Duoblock 5-axis CNC mill/turn utilizing Siemens 840 control.
