Michael Dixon is an experienced maintenance professional with a diverse background in mechanical fitting and supervision across multiple companies in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Supervisor at BHP and a Fixed Plant Supervisor at Fortescue Metals Group, Michael has held key maintenance roles at FMG and KBSS Engineering. With extensive experience as a Maintenance Technician at Rio Tinto since 2013, Michael has also contributed as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter at Ark Group and held leading hands positions at Monadelphous. Michael began a career in mechanical fitting at Supercrane Engineered Lifting Technology from 2003 to 2011. Michael possesses a trade certificate in mechanical fitting from Swan TAFE and completed education at Karratha Senior High.
