Richard Smith

Richard Smith joined KBW in 2002. He is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all of the firm’s financial reporting and planning. Previously, he served as the Controller and coordinated the financial reporting efforts for KBW’s IPO in 2006.

Earlier in his career, Richard worked at DLJ as a Senior Vice President responsible for Equity and Equity Derivative product control, firm wide revenue reporting and forecasting and a member of the management team for the DLJ / CSFB transaction integration. He received an MBA from Adelphi University with concentration in Accounting and Finance.
