Rob Mann

Head of Investment Banking, Europe at KBW

Rob is Head of Investment Banking at Stifel in Europe, with responsibility for the firm’s corporate broking, advisory and private financing business across the continent. He joined Stifel following the takeover of Oriel Securities, where he led Corporate from January 2014.

Rob is personally involved in the firm’s coverage of financial services, especially challenger banks and diversified financials. He has been at the forefront of the firm’s industry leading coverage of legal services, spanning law firms, alternative legal services businesses and litigation finance. Recent notable transactions include the IPO of DWF, the first premium listed international legal business, and capital raises for leading litigation finance businesses such as Augusta Ventures.

Prior to joining Stifel, Rob worked for Canaccord Genuity (previously Collins Stewart) and was Head of Securities, responsible for all research, sales, and trading in Europe. Rob originally joined Collins Stewart as a consumer research analyst, covering brewers, food manufacturing, tobacco, and household and personal care. Prior to that Rob was an equity research analyst at HSBC (2001-2005) and previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.

Rob holds an MA from Cambridge University in English Literature and had a three year spell teaching English in the mid-1990s.
