Bryce Shields is currently the Innovations & Performance Lead at KCATA and an APTA Emerging Leader in the class of 2024. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri State University and a Master’s degree in Zoo, Aquarium, and Animal Shelter Management from Colorado State University, Bryce has a strong foundation in both science and business. Prior roles include Deputy Director of Government Relations at KCATA and Associate Consultant at Cerner Corporation, along with various internships focused on animal husbandry and education. Throughout their career, Bryce has shown a commitment to merging scientific knowledge with innovative organizational practices.
