Daniel Serda is a city planner specializing in urban design, economic development, and stakeholder-driven community planning. He currently serves as an economic development program officer for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). His work at LISC includes managing the KC-CUR commercial revitalization initiative, which focuses on the Troost and Prospect corridors, and the LISC Business Development Organization (BDO) network, which provides technical support and enhanced capital access to women- and BIPOC-led small businesses. Dr. Serda previously served on the KCATA Board of Commissioners from 2014-2020, and has been chairman of the RideKC Development Corporation Board of Directors since 2018.
