Jason Cheng

Jason Cheng, CPSM, PMP, is an accomplished procurement manager with extensive experience in the chemical and coatings industry. Currently at KCC Corporation since June 2016, Jason oversees procurement for resin, emulsion, hardener, and solvent raw materials across four sites in the China Region, managing an annual purchasing value of 1 billion RMB, which constitutes approximately 50% of the total raw material spend. Previous roles include serving as Regional Procurement Manager for AkzoNobel, where Jason led procurement efforts in Marine Coatings across China and Taiwan, and as Purchasing Manager for both AkzoNobel's Shanghai operations and Clariant, specializing in sourcing and supplier negotiations. Jason began their career as a Purchasing Assistant at Okahata Co., Ltd., where Jason focused on supplier development and customer relations. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Harbin Institute of Technology.
