Taewook Lim

Taewook Lim currently serves as Deputy General Manager at KCC Corporation, specializing in polymeric binders and formulations for electric vehicle and battery materials, as well as for paints and building materials since January 2007. Prior to this role, Taewook Lim completed a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2017, focusing on multi-functional microcapsules and lithium-ion batteries, with funding from KCC Corporation. Additionally, Taewook Lim holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Seoul National University, where research included polymer electrolyte membranes for high-temperature PEM fuel cells. Education was completed at Guro High School.
