Gamel Oki

Gamel Oki is an experienced digital and communications professional with a career spanning over a decade in various leadership roles within student unions and media organizations. Currently serving as the Digital & Communications Manager at KCLSU since February 2017, Gamel has been instrumental in establishing a digital team to enhance marketing strategies, including website management and social media engagement. Previous roles include Acting Head of Marketing & Communications, Visual Editor at Phi Magazine, and Head of Communications & Marketing at London South Bank Students' Union, where responsibilities included managing communications assets and leading marketing efforts. Gamel's background also encompasses positions at Goldsmiths Students' Union and the University of Portsmouth Students' Union, focusing on media coordination and graphic design. Gamel holds a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of Portsmouth.
