Eike Hein

Eike Hein is a Chief Architect at MBition GmbH since October 2019, leading the architecture team for next-generation infotainment systems in Mercedes-Benz cars. Prior roles include Senior Principal System Architect and Principal System Architect, focusing on the MBUX infotainment system's architecture and user interface graphics. Eike has been a Vice President of KDE e.V. since January 2007, significantly contributing to the KDE Plasma desktop interface as a Software Engineer and Architect. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Blue Systems GmbH and working independently as a software engineer and educator, specializing in Linux and Qt-based systems.
