Nick Franzer

Nick Franzer is an experienced Process Engineer currently working for Kurt J. Lesker Company since June 2016 in various capacities including Process Engineer II and Laboratory Technician, as well as holding a position as Process Engineer at KDF Technologies, LLC since January 2022. Prior roles include a Research and Development Internship at Pilkington N.A. Development Center, where Nick led a project on thin-film physical vapor deposition, and a Research Assistant position at the Wright Center for Photovoltaics Innovation and Commercialization, gaining expertise with deposition systems and analytical equipment. Nick holds a Master’s Degree in Physics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with a focus on Applied Physics from The University of Toledo.
