Guillermo Da Silva

Guillermo Da Silva has worked as a Senior Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer at KDPOF, Knowledge Development for POF, SL starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Bifrost Communications ApS as a Senior IC Design Engineer from March 2022 to April 2023, an Industrial PhD Student from September 2018 to February 2022, and an R&D Engineer from September 2016 to September 2018. Guillermo also worked as a Microwave & RF Engineer at the Radio Frequency Research Group (GIRA), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from February 2016 to July 2016, and as a Microwave Engineer at Bifrost Communications ApS from September 2015 to February 2016.

Guillermo Da Silva pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their undergraduate degree at Universidad Politénica de Madrid from 2011 to 2016. Guillermo completed a Grado en Ingeniería de Sistemas de Telecomunicación during this period.

Afterwards, Guillermo enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Wireless from 2016 to 2018.

Following their master's degree, they continued their academic journey at the same institution, DTU, and pursued a PhD in High-Speed Integrated Circuits for Quasi-Coherent Optical Receivers. This program lasted from 2018 to 2021, concluding with Guillermo earning their PhD from DTU.
