Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is a highly experienced Senior Adviser at Kearney, specializing in institutional modernization and transformations in national and international security within the Middle East since March 2015. Prior roles include Associate positions at Anderson Consulting and Burdeshaw Associates, as well as serving as a National and International Security Policy Executive. Andrew transitioned to consultancy after a distinguished military career that saw a rise to the rank of Brigadier General, with significant positions including Director of the Combined Planning Group at United States Central Command and Principal National Strategic and Operational Planning Officer at the Australian Defence Force. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Politics from UNSW and multiple leadership programs at Harvard Kennedy School.
