Kai Engel

Kai Engel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. At Kearney since September 1994, Engel serves as Partner and Managing Director, overseeing engagements across multiple industries. Additional roles include Chairman of the Executive Board at Kearney Pension Trust since March 2019, Member of the Supervisory Board at Akarion AG since May 2022, and Executive Board Member at the FEDORA Platform from May 2020. Engel also contributes as a Jury Member for the Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis, recognizing excellence in sustainability, and holds the position of Managing Director at IMP³rove Holding since July 2014. Previous experience includes a strategic council position at Planven Ventures Fund, project advisory work for the World Economic Forum, and membership on the Strategic Advisory Board of FRANKFURT BUSINESS MEDIA. Engel holds a Dr.-Ing. in Laser and Optical Technology from the University of Hannover and degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from the Universities of Braunschweig and Hanover, respectively.
