Ryan Byrd

Ryan Byrd, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ryan currently serves as an Audit Manager at Kearney & Company since March 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at South State Bank for almost nine years as a Senior Accountant, specializing in Financial and Regulatory Reporting. Ryan was responsible for assisting with the preparation and review of footnotes and disclosures for quarterly financial filings, as well as completing various regulatory reporting requirements. Before joining South State Bank, Ryan worked at Tidelands Bank as an Internal Auditor from June 2009 to January 2012, and at Speedway Motorsports as an Internal Auditor from October 2008 to June 2009. In these roles, they performed business process reviews, identified areas of potential revenue loss and inefficiencies, and assisted with the development of risk-based internal audit plans. Ryan began their career at Deloitte, where they worked as an Audit Staff from July 2007 to September 2008.

Ryan Byrd, CPA, earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Accounting from The Citadel. Ryan attended The Citadel from 2003 to 2007, acquiring a strong educational foundation in the field of study.
