John Stephens

John Stephens serves as Chief Executive Officer for Accretive Insurance Solutions, where they lead the company and drive its strategic vision. They previously served as president of Accretive Insurance Solutions from 2022 to 2024, championing existing and newly acquired wholesale and specialty agencies to greater collaborative success and aligning distribution, operations, and technology as well as integrating several strategic acquisitions across the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland. Prior to that, they were Senior Vice President and P&C Practice Leader at Keenan (2004–2020), overseeing the Public Agency Property & Casualty Practice and developing and executing business plans for Property & Casualty offerings to over 600 California public agencies and 35 joint powers authorities representing 2.6 million students, $10 billion of workers’ compensation payroll, $60 billion of total insurable values, and a large scholastic construction wrap-up program. They earned a BS in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics from California Lutheran University (1991–1993) and an Associate of Arts from LA Valley College (1988–1990).
