Matt Cardinal serves as a Faculty member at the UT School of Design and Creative Technologies, specializing in teaching Prototyping for Products since September 2024. Previously, Matt held multiple roles at IBM from January 2016 to March 2016, including Team Lead for SXSW Event Designer, User Experience Designer across various teams, and Design Team Lead in Global Business Services, focusing on Design Thinking. Matt also worked at Microsoft as a Senior UX Designer from September 2021 to May 2024, concentrating on Security UX for Defender Experts. Prior experience includes owning Signal Cycles, a company dedicated to bespoke bicycle design, and collaborating on projects with Ziba Design. Matt holds a Master's Degree in Industrial and Product Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in Painting from Pacific Northwest College of Art. Currently, Matt is also a Senior User Experience Designer at Keep Aware.
