Varun Murthy

Varun Murthy has an extensive work experience in various technology-focused roles. Varun is currently serving as the Head of Product and Technology at Keep Financial Technologies, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this, Varun worked as the Head of Product at Drum Technologies, Inc. from June 2019 onwards, where they successfully developed and managed the platform, leading to a significant increase in users and engagement. Varun also played a key role in formulating the GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy for the Drum app.

Before joining Drum Technologies, Varun worked at VMware AirWatch for several years in different capacities. In their role as a Product Line Manager from December 2016 to May 2019, they led a team to launch a scalable web application with a mobile client, resulting in multiple patent filings. As a Product Manager from February 2013 to December 2016, they identified market opportunities and conducted analysis to streamline device management. Additionally, Varun worked as a Software Engineer at VMware AirWatch from February 2011 to January 2013, where they developed a user portal catering to a large number of users.

Earlier in their career, Varun worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from September 2010 to February 2011. During this time, they collaborated on Digital Image Processing Algorithms under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Madisetti. Varun also gained valuable experience as a Software Development Intern at Cisco Systems from May 2010 to August 2010, where they contributed to the development of an HTTP Client/Server application used for testing a web proxy.
