Dan Mahony

Dan Mahony has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dan currently serves as the Chair at Trellus Health and the BioIndustry Association. Dan is also a Non-Executive Director at Sernova Corp., the Wellcome Sanger Institute, Keepabl, Celmatix, and Apian. In the past, they worked as a Mentor in the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme at NHS England. Dan also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Evotec. Dan'sprevious significant role was as the Co-Head of Healthcare at Polar Capital Partners, where they co-founded the Polar Healthcare team and grew the business to approximately $4.5 billion in AUM.

Dan Mahony earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Dan then pursued further education at the University of Cambridge, completing their PhD in Developmental Biology from 1991 to 1995.
