Melanie Tyson

Melanie Tyson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Melanie began their career as an Audit Senior at RSM Robson Rhodes in 1997 before joining KPMG UK as a Corporate Finance Associate in 2000. Melanie then worked at Kcom as a Business Development Associate and later as a Commercial Finance Manager from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they served as the Financial Controller at thebigword from 2007 to 2008. Melanie then transitioned to Baker Tilly where they held the position of Restructuring and Recovery Manager from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Keepmoat Homes as a Senior Finance Manager and progressively advanced to become the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis from 2017 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Divisional Finance Director for Yorkshire and North East and later for North West and Scotland at Keepmoat Homes. Starting in November 2020, they currently hold the role of Divisional Finance Director at Keepmoat Homes. Additionally, in 2020, they briefly served as a Non-Executive Board Member at Leeds College of Building.

Melanie Tyson has a BSc(Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Melanie also holds an ACA (FCA since 2012) degree from the ICAEW, a Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) from the Insolvency Practitioners Association, and an MCSI degree from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
