Emarc Magtanong

Emarc Magtanong has a strong background in Android development and software engineering. Emarc worked at Keepsafe Software, Inc. as an Android Developer, focusing on developing privacy and security applications since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked for Anytimes, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they worked on server side and admin tool projects from July 2016 to June 2018. Emarc also has experience working at Rakuten, Inc. as an Android Developer, where they contributed to the development of Rakuten Ichiba, one of Japan's largest e-commerce platforms. Before that, they worked for Voyager Innovations, Inc. as an Android Developer and team leader from September 2013 to May 2015. Emarc's early career included a role as a Software Engineer at Samsung Philippines Mobile Center, where they developed Android applications and resolved system and kernel related issues from August 2012 to August 2013.

Emarc Magtanong obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Nara Institute of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Electronics Engineer from the Professional Regulation Commission in the Philippines in October 2008.
