Mariam Jamal is a legal professional and advocate specializing in digital and human rights, with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a member of the Digital Health Rights Project at KELIN and the Global Strategic Litigation Council for Refugee Rights, Mariam conducts qualitative research and contributes to global litigation agendas. Previous roles include research consultancy at the Solidarity Center focusing on digital labor rights, a consultant for Lawyers for Human Rights enhancing the Southern African Nationality Rights Index, and project coordinator at Haki na Sheria supporting advocacy for refugee citizenship rights. Mariam has also consulted for OGO-LAW ADVOCATES and participated in research related to artificial intelligence and ethics at the Center for AI and Digital Policy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in law from Kenyatta University and ongoing Master's studies in Technology and Public Policy at Politecnico di Torino.
