Manuel Lopez Portillo serves as the Senior Vice President of Supply, Commercial, and SQA for the Accelerator Division at Mars since January 2026. Prior to this role, Manuel worked as Vice President of Supply Chain North America at Kellanova from October 2023 to January 2025 and held various leadership positions at Kellogg Company from July 2004 to October 2023, including Vice President roles in Supply Chain for North America and Latin America, as well as positions such as Engineering Director and Plant Director. Earlier experience includes serving as Distribution Head at Novartis for Gerber Products and an Associate Professorship in Business Logistics at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MBA from the University of Southampton, additional certifications in Lean Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Michigan, and executive education in Strategies and Leadership in Supply Chain from Stanford University. Currently, Manuel is pursuing a course in Digital Supply Chain at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
