Thayer Long

Thayer Long is an accomplished executive with extensive leadership experience in various sectors, particularly in associations and trade groups. Currently serving as Executive Vice President for Kellen since May 2025, Thayer oversees industrial and manufacturing initiatives for a global management company that partners with over 125 organizations. Previously, Thayer held the position of Vice President of Client Experience at Innovatis Group and served as President of the Association for PRINT Technologies, where significant organizational transformation was achieved. Thayer's experience also includes serving as Executive Director/CEO of the Independent Electrical Contractors and President and CEO of the Manufactured Housing Institute, where strategic advocacy and development were prioritized. Earlier in the career, Thayer contributed to political operations at the National Association of Home Builders and began as an Assistant Editor at the American Chemical Society. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in English from Davidson College.
