Stem Kent is the founder and CEO of KEMA, a company that crafts real food snacks at the intersection of plant-based, whole foods and fermentation. Prior to KEMA, Stem was the Tempeh Craftsman & Founder/CEO of Alive & Healing, California's Premier Certified Organic Tempeh manufacturing company. In this role, Stem oversaw and managed all operations of Alive & Healing. Stem also reached out to Executive Chefs, Restaurants, Catering Companies, Foodservice Contractors as well as Retailers who were excited about unpasteurized, local, tender tempeh.
Stem has also served as the Managing Director of SunRhize Foods and as an intern at the Regenerative Design Institute and apprentice at the Ecovillage Training Center.
Stem Kent is a visionary leader in the real food movement and is dedicated to creating healthy, sustainable food options for everyone.
Stem Kent have a BA in Sociology from Emory University and also studied mathematics while they were there.
