Kimmo Auronen is a Senior R&D Engineer at Kempower since September 2023, focusing on design supervision for new HPC and MCS products as well as product concepts and initial customer pilots. Previously, from 2020 to 2023, Kimmo worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Ampner Oy, specializing in mechanical design for ES/PV inverters and supplier collaboration. Between 2014 and 2020, Kimmo held the roles of Development Engineer and Project Engineer at VEO Oy, providing supplier support, managing product structures for Drives products, and developing sales configurators, along with 3D design for customer projects in various applications. Kimmo's engineering career began at The Switch from 2010 to 2014, where responsibilities included mechanical design for high power converters used in wind turbines. Kimmo holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu VAMK University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2009, and also attended Rangsit University in 2008.
