Rui Castro

Rui Castro has over 25 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations. Rui began their career in 1994 as a Customer Service Data Base Supervisor at Procter & Gamble. Rui then held the role of Supply Planner for Portugal and Iberia, Head of Customer Service Operations Portugal, and Head of Supply Network Operations Iberia. In 2016, they joined Coty as a Site Leader and PMO External Operations (Third Party) and EUROPE Cost Savings PMO Manager. In 2020, they were appointed Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations at kencko, where they were later promoted to Head of Supply Chain. In their roles, Rui Castro has delivered structural cost efficiencies through Raw and Packaging material innovation, process improvement, and sourcing loss analysis. Rui has achieved service level on target (above 95%), cost savings of over 1 million USD, and improved customer satisfaction survey results.

Rui Castro has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa from 1990 to 1994, a High School graduation from Escola Secundaria da Amadora from 1983 to 1989, and an Executive Education from Nova School of Business and Economics in 2018. Rui also holds additional certifications, such as eCommerce from GS1 Portugal in 2022, CCP Certificated Trainer (former CAP) from IEFP - Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional in cooperation with AERLIS / MARTOLIGEST in 2019, Digital Marketing Certification from Google in 2019, People Interviewer recruitment from Procter & Gamble in 2015, and Food Safety and Hygiene from Kmed Europa in 2021.
