Leslie Johnson

Leslie Johnson is a Human Resources Director at Kendall County, where they lead the development of the new Human Resources Department and serve as the chief negotiator in union negotiations. Prior to this role, Leslie worked as a Civil Division Chief and Assistant State's Attorney for Kendall County, providing legal counsel and representation for various boards and officials from 2009 to 2022. Leslie has previously held attorney positions at Koehler & Passarelli, LLC, Andrews Koehler & Passarelli, P.C., and Jackson Lewis LLP, managing litigation and advising clients on labor and employment matters. They earned a J.D. with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
