Alexander Redpath is a legal professional with extensive experience in sports law and employment law. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Player Status Committee and Chairman of the IFA Disciplinary Committee at the Irish Football Association, Alexander has been involved in adjudicating challenges under IFA and FIFA transfer regulations, as well as contractual disputes between clubs and players. In addition to these roles, Alexander is a Senior Associate at Kennedys in Belfast, overseeing the employment practice and regularly representing employers before the Industrial Tribunal. Past experience includes positions as a solicitor at Worthingtons Solicitors, Peter Bowles & Company, and other legal firms, alongside serving as a City Councillor for Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, where Alexander held the roles of Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Planning Committee. Alexander's educational background includes a Law LLB from Queen's University Belfast and a Certificate in Professional Legal Studies from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
