Roxy van Ruiten

Roxy Van Ruiten is a Meteorologist at KENS 5 since November 2024, previously serving as a Social Media Manager at Viva Auto Group from November 2023 to October 2024 and as a Morning Weather Anchor at KTSM-TV from November 2020 to October 2023. Prior internships at KVIA-TV and KTSM-TV provided Roxy with experience in news writing, reporting, and technical operations. Roxy's background also includes a role as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Marketer at Emajj from July 2015 to June 2016. Roxy holds a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Mississippi State University, expected in May 2025, and a Bachelor's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from The University of Texas at El Paso, earned in 2019.
