Greg Paddon-Jones

SVP of Innovation and Technology at Kensing

Greg Paddon-Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is as the SVP of Innovation and Technology at Kensing, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Innovation and Technology at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Kensing, Paddon-Jones worked at InCon Process Systems as the Director of Technology from 2019 to 2022. InCon Process Systems is a global industrial processing and equipment company specializing in high vacuum distillation equipment.

Greg also held the position of Director of Product Development at Antares Health Products from 2019 to 2022. Antares Health Products is a leading manufacturer of Vitamin E TPGS, used in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and food & beverage.

From 2013 to 2019, Paddon-Jones worked at Afton Chemical, first as a Senior Process Scientist and then as an R&D Group Leader. Afton Chemical is a petroleum additive company that develops and manufactures products to improve fuel efficiency and engine performance.

Prior to Afton Chemical, they served as the Senior VP of Operations and Technology at Mycell Technologies LLC from 2009 to 2013, and as the Director of Technology Development at Zymes LLC from 2008 to 2009.

Paddon-Jones started their career at Lonza AG, where they held various roles including Lean Six Sigma and Process Optimization Expert, Production Chemist, Process Optimization Chemist, and Research and Development Chemist from 2001 to 2008.

Greg also has research experience, having worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at CNRS from 1999 to 2000 and at Heriot-Watt University from 1999 to 1999.

Greg Paddon-Jones has a strong education background in chemistry. Greg first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in General Chemistry at The University of Queensland, from 1989 to 1992. After completing their undergraduate studies, Greg continued their education at the same institution, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Chemistry between 1989 and 1993. Greg further deepened their knowledge and specialization in the field by completing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry from 1994 to 1998.
