Steve Miller

Steve Miller is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in backend engineering and software architecture, currently serving as a Senior Staff Backend Engineer at Kentik since November 2023. Previously, Miller contributed as a Software Engineer at DriveNets, focusing on network monitoring using advanced technologies such as Helm, Terraform, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. During a six-year tenure at Salesforce, Miller held positions as a Software Engineering Architect and Principal Engineer, successfully revamping DNS monitoring systems and building large-scale log analysis systems. Miller's background also includes significant roles at VERISIGN, Vonage, and UUNET/WorldCom, spanning responsibilities in software design, monitoring systems, and data architecture. Miller holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
