David Howie

David Howie serves as the OSW Head of Engineering at Kent, providing technical governance and ensuring delivery excellence across the Offshore Wind business since July 2021. With a robust background in engineering management, David leads the design and analysis of offshore wind and oil & gas structures, drawing on extensive experience throughout the entire asset life cycle. Prior to Kent, David worked at Atkins from September 2009 to June 2021, where roles included Principal Engineer, Group Lead, Senior Engineer, and Engineer, contributing to multi-disciplinary design projects. David's career began with a research placement at the University of Oxford in 2008. David holds a Master's degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, completed in 2009.
