Rudi Smith is a Chartered Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, specializing in structural integrity management. Previously, Rudi worked as an Offshore Structural Engineer at Woodside Energy, where they developed novel reliability assessments and managed structural integrity plans. Rudi has also held positions as an Operations Engineer at Todd Energy and as a Structural Engineer at Mercury and Atkins. Currently, Rudi serves as a Principal Structural Engineer at Kent, leading projects and providing decommissioning and analysis services for offshore structures. Rudi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with 1st Class Honours from the University of Melbourne and completed an exchange year at Imperial College London.
