David Yao

David Yao is a highly experienced professional in the field of design engineering, currently serving as the VP of Design Engineering at Kenu, where leadership in the mechanical design of innovative smartphone-centric accessories is paramount. In addition to Kenu, David is a co-founder and engineer at both Hemp & Hand and birdzeye | labs. Previous experience includes a role as a design engineer at Joby, where David contributed to various stages of consumer product development, and a technical internship at Sandia National Laboratory focused on robotics. David holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of New Mexico.
