Ryan Ong

Ryan Ong currently serves as the Director of Tax and Trade Policy at Kenvue, where responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for global tax and trade policy engagement with various stakeholders. Previously, Ryan held the position of Senior Director of International Trade and Regulatory Affairs at the National Association of Manufacturers from 2016 to 2023, focusing on advocacy related to international trade issues affecting U.S. manufacturers. Prior roles also include Director of Business Advisory Services at the US-China Business Council, managing strategic direction and providing insights on operational issues for member companies. Ryan’s career began as a Research Associate at Duke University’s Center on Globalization, Governance & Competitiveness, contributing to research and strategic planning initiatives. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International Economics and China Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
