Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in journalism and nonprofit advocacy. Currently serving as a Writer at Kenyon College since July 2023, Ryan has also held prominent roles such as Features Editor and Assistant Features Editor at Columbus Dispatch since April 2018. Previous experience includes serving as Interim Director of Advocacy and Grantmaking at Jewish World Watch and Managing Editor at Jewish Journal, where oversight of weekly production and editorial assignments was a primary responsibility. Additional roles encompass editing for The Tribe Magazine, contributing writings for various publications, and public relations work at Hebrew Union College. Ryan Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Yale University, earned in 1998.
