Gary Wicks

Gary has over 20 years of experience acting for a wide range of professionals and advising insurers on coverage issues. He specializes in claims against architects, engineers, M&E engineers, quantity surveyors, and other construction professionals and has extensive experience in dealing with claims for and against design and build contractors (including in the pharmaceutical sector), including advising insurers on coverage issues. His experience includes dealing with claims relating to design, delay, procurement, and cost issues in large-scale commercial, residential and mix-use developments.

Gary has extensive experience in dealing with high-value, multi-party litigation in the Business and Property Courts, as well as arbitrations, adjudications, mediation (where he has represented parties in over 150 mediations), and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
