Jonathan defends construction professionals in civil and disciplinary proceedings, including architects, engineers, surveyors, approved inspectors and project managers. Having previously been a CNC engineer, and having worked in-house for both insurers and brokers, he has an appreciation of construction disputes from every perspective of the defence team. He regularly commentates on construction law and risk management having appeared in numerous publications (including the Insurance Times, the Insurance Post and Strategic Risk Magazine), and delivered seminars for various bodies (including ACE, RICS, RIBA and PIF).

Jonathan specialises in defending high value, multi-party, legally and technically complex construction disputes (including where there is a related criminal prosecution by the HSE, trading standards or a Fire Authority). He also defends construction professionals in disciplinary proceedings, including those before RIBA, ARB, RICS and the CIC.

He is experienced in all types of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.
