Michael Herrera

Michael Herrera has extensive work experience in the finance and commercial field. Michael recently worked as a Principal Consultant in Finance & Commercial at Nexus Blue Financial. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Keolis Downer, including Finance, Commercial & Legal Lead and Bid Finance & Commercial Consultant. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Finance Transformation Consultant at Strategic Collision Repairs Group Pty Ltd. Michael also has a strong background in IT finance, having served as the General Manager Finance, Group IT at Downer and as an IT Finance Manager. Michael gained further experience as a Finance Manager at EIC Activities Pty Ltd and held various roles, including Business Analyst, Management Accountant, Treasury Accountant, and Assistant Accountant at CPB Contractors.

Michael Herrera attended Waverley College for an unspecified period of time. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting at Australian Catholic University from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they completed further studies in Accounting at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2011 to 2014.
