Operations Manager, New Mobilities at Keolis Downer

Shane Fedele has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shane'smost recent position was as the Operations Manager for New Mobilities at Keolis Downer, starting in October 2021. In this role, Shane is responsible for developing and implementing an On Demand bus service in Mt Barker and The Barossa Valley using the VIA app booking system.

Prior to this, Shane worked at Southlink, part of Keolis Downer, where they served as the Operations Coordinator at the Edinburgh North bus depot from July 2008 to October 2019. In this role, Shane was responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, including shift coverage and incident response for the Adelaide metro network.

Before joining Keolis Downer, Shane worked as an Automotive Technician at SA RACE performance drivelines from January 1996 to July 2008. Shane'sresponsibilities included conducting electronic and mechanical diagnostic work on various vehicles, as well as making repairs, modifications, and upgrades to performance cars. Shane also collaborated with customers, sales reps, and mechanics in the workshop for parts ordering, quotations, and time management.

Shane began their career at Steinborner Holden as a Service Advisor from August 1993 to January 1996.

Shane Fedele's education history includes various degrees and certifications. Shane attended The College For Adult Learning from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a Diploma in Project Management and a Diploma in Leadership and Management. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1998, Shane attended Croydon Park TAFE and earned a Trade certificate in automotive mechanics, specializing in light vehicle automotive mechanics. In 1988, they completed Year 12 at The Heights School in Modbury Heights, South Australia. Additionally, Shane has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate IV in Front Line Management from Business SA in 2011, a Certificate III in Road Transport and Distribution from Transport Training Solutions in 2008, and a Trade Certificate in Light Vehicle/Automotive from Croydon Park TAFE in 1993.
