Robert Magner is an experienced spacecraft and robotics engineer specializing in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), autonomy, computer vision, and AI. They served as the GNC lead for small satellite missions at UTIAS Space Flight Laboratory from 2018 to 2021, contributing to projects like the Kepler GEN1 constellation and GHGSat. Additionally, Robert has worked at MDA as a GNC Lead for commercial space robotics and is currently a Senior GNC Designer at Kepler Communications Inc. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto.
