Stephen Lau

Stephen Lau has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and communications field. Stephen started their career as an intern at DLR in 2014. In 2014, they co-founded the University of Toronto Aerospace Team, where they served as the Space Systems Lead for the development of a 3U Cubesat. During their time there, Stephen learned, taught, and executed tasks related to Cubesats and electronics. Since 2015, they have been working at Kepler Communications Inc., initially as a Lead Communications Engineer, responsible for building small communications satellites and RF hardware. In September 2020, Stephen transitioned to the role of Architect, IoT, where they continue to contribute to the company's growth as a fast-growing startup.

Stephen Lau completed their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, with a focus on Physics, from the University of Toronto. This degree program was undertaken from 2012 to 2015. Before their university education, Stephen Lau pursued their secondary education at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School, where they obtained an IB Diploma, along with further studies in Mathematics. The duration of their secondary education was from 2008 to 2012.
