KERA Energy's has two primary operating markets. Sustainable materials and feedstock for the carbon black industry. 

Our original foundation is sourcing, blending, and managing supply of feedstocks into the Carbon Black industry. To date, KERA has supplied over 1.5 million metric tons (~9 million barrels) into the industry. 

In 2018, we expanded into Sustainable Materials. These circular and bio-based materials are feedstocks in the refining and petrochemical markets. Our Sustainable Materials enable our customers to meet their GHG and circularity targets. The markets we focus on are biofuels derived from tires & bio-based waste products as well as circular feedstocks generated from waste plastics. The technology route to convert these biomaterials, tires and plastics vary, however, there is a strong focus on pyrolysis technology.

We work with pyrolysis companies around the world to technically and commercially optimize their operations in a manner that allows Kera to source, blend and sell the pyrolysis oils into the chemical and refining industries. 

We are proud that our services and materials are driving the recycling of tires and plastics that would have otherwise wound up in landfills, incinerated or illegally dumped in forests, rivers, or our oceans.
